We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is driven to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you’ll work closely with our Wealth Advisors to deliver exceptional client service and support comprehensive financial planning. This role involves reviewing and analyzing financial documents, developing thoughtful recommendations, participating in client meetings, and helping ensure our clients’ goals and needs remain at the forefront of everything we do.
Compensation & Benefits
Full-time, W-2 position
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and licenses
Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM; two Saturdays/month, 8 AM–12 PM (in-office for client appointments)

About You
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in financial planning
Demonstrated passion for a long-term career in financial planning. Direct experience is not required, but candidates should show intentionality through relevant coursework (e.g., CFP®), internships, or academic focus.

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Tech-savvy with proficiency in spreadsheets, financial and tax planning software, and CRM systems (Preferred experience in eMoney and Holistiplan)

Eager to grow professionally and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What You’ll Be Doing
Before Employment
Study for and pass the Series 65 exam (The Dala Group pays for the study materials and test). This process typically takes six to eight weeks.
Immediately Upon Employment
Build Financial Planning Expertise
Develop working knowledge across core financial planning areas: cash flow, insurance, investments, tax strategies, retirement, and estate planning.Analyze Client Information
Review and interpret key client documents—including account statements, insurance policies, tax returns, pay stubs, pension statements, and estate plans—to assist in developing personalized recommendations.Utilize Financial Planning Software
Gain proficiency in our planning platform (eMoney) to review and input client data, model scenarios, and generate planning outputs accurately and confidently.Prepare for Client Meetings
Assist in all aspects of meeting preparation, including updating financial plans, reviewing client files, establishing agendas, and drafting preliminary planning recommendations.Support Client Engagement
Attend client meetings alongside the Lead Advisor. Responsibilities include taking detailed notes, identifying follow-up items, and supporting the implementation of advice.Ensure Follow-Through on Recommendations
Track open action items and coordinate timely follow-ups to ensure clients receive consistent and thorough service.Client Communication
Engage directly with clients when additional information or actions are needed, ensuring a proactive and professional experience.Team Participation
Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly advisor development sessions, and quarterly strategic planning meetings to support your professional growth and contribute to the firm’s success.
After Your First Year
Start taking CFP® courses (Study materials and test paid for by The Dala Group)
Within Three Years
Take and pass all CFP® courses
Take and pass the CFP® exam. Acquiring your CFP® designation is a requirement to continue with The Dala Group. We know life happens, and you can assume flexibility in the timeline.
